Script for SHARK Thursday Net @7:30PM CST 

When 7:30PM hits: QST, QST, if the frequency is clear, please stand by for the Sam Houston Amateur Radio Klub weekly Thursday night net.

This is (Call #), my name is (), transmitting from (insert place) and I will be your net operator for this week’s club net.

The Sam Houston Amateur Radio Klub net meets every Thursday evening at 7:30pm CST, or 1930 hours. The purpose of this net is to share announcements, news, and events in regards to the art and science of amateur radio, as well as to practice our skills in communication, in the event of a scenario that we are called upon to provide our services.

This is not a traders net, but you are welcome to mention equipment you are selling or getting rid of. Please do not discuss prices on the net.

This net will be conducted in a semi-formal manner. Categories will be called according to position and membership within the club, as well as an opportunity for all non-club member Amateur Operators to participate. When calling in to net control please use ITU phonetics when giving your call sign, also please state your name. It is also helpful if you would give your location from which you are transmitting, so that we know where our fellow operators are.
